This website has been developed to keep interested parties informed of developments on the first phase of the White Cart Water flood prevention scheme being implemented by Glasgow City Council.

Contract 1 comprises the construction three flood storage areas. The boundaries of the construction site associated with each of the flood storage areas has been delineated with stock proof fencing. Plans showing the boundary of the construction site can be accessed below. Access within the construction sites is controlled by the contractor, Carillion. Due to significant health and safety risks we regret that no access can be granted to anyone wanting to enter the construction site other than those authorised by the main contractor, Carillion.
